Your Shopify store is losing buyers somewhere. We'll show you where, and fix it.
CRO Insight audits Shopify stores for D2C brands, from the homepage to the checkout, then builds the fixes in your theme. Seven years and somewhere between 120 and 200 Shopify stores have taught us where buyers usually give up.
You'll get a reply within one business day from the person who'll review your store, not an automated sales sequence.

What an audit looks like
We start with your numbers, not opinions. Every Shopify store has this conversion breakdown in its analytics, and it usually tells us which page to open first.
Online store conversion rate
1.42%
Last 30 days
- Sessions48,210100%
- Added to cart3,3747.0%
- Reached checkout1,4943.1%
- Sessions converted6851.42%
Out of every 100 shoppers who put something in a cart, around 70 leave without buying. That's the average across online stores, according to the Baymard Institute.
Fixing that doesn't take more traffic. It takes fewer reasons to leave. Small improvements compound: a 10% lift at four steps of the funnel works out to about 46% more orders from the same visitors.
From the findings sheet
Six issues we run into on most stores. Your sheet will have your own, usually 20 to 40 of them, each with a screenshot.
What we work on
Most brands start with an audit and then hand us the fixes. Some come with one page that isn't pulling its weight. Either way works.
Shopify CRO audit
A full review of your store on mobile and desktop. You get:
- A findings sheet with annotated screenshots
- Every fix ranked by impact and effort
- A read of your analytics and funnel
- Speed, trust and mobile usability checks
- A walkthrough call with your team
- Homepage
- A first screen that says what you sell and why it's better, and gets people to a product quickly. Ask about your homepage
- Product pages
- Gallery, price, variant picker, reviews, delivery info and a button nobody can miss. This is where buying decisions happen. Ask about product pages
- Collection pages
- Filters that match how your customers shop, product cards with ratings and swatches, and quick add. Ask about collections
- Cart
- A cart drawer with a free-delivery bar, relevant add-ons and no surprise totals. Ask about your cart
- Checkout
- Branded checkout, clear payment and COD options, trust signals, and checkout extensions where your plan allows them. Ask about checkout
- Theme and speed
- Online Store 2.0 clean-ups, removing apps you've outgrown, and faster loading on mobile networks. Ask about your theme
- Custom development
- Liquid sections, bundles, upsell blocks, quizzes and landing pages, built into your theme instead of bolted on with another app. Ask about a build
Same product, same traffic, different page
Drag the line to compare the product page from the audit at the top of this page with the version we'd build. Same shirt, same price.
- Rating under the title. Shoppers see 2,184 reviews before anything else.
- Price with context. The saving is spelled out instead of left to arithmetic.
- Size and colour as buttons. One tap instead of a dropdown, with the size guide in reach.
- A button that looks like a button. High contrast and within thumb reach.
- Delivery date and COD right below it. The two things Indian shoppers check before paying.
- A real review, quoted. A short one, from a named buyer.
- Free-delivery bar. A reason to add one more thing, and a clear amount to reach.
- One relevant add-on. Picked from what's already in the cart, added without leaving the drawer.
- Savings shown. A reminder of the deal right before checkout.
- Payment options and returns upfront. UPI, cards and COD listed before the checkout page.
- A drawer, not a page. Shoppers stay where they were instead of being sent away.
Is it worth it? Do the maths.
Put in your own numbers. This runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
Your estimate
- Revenue a month today
- ₹13,50,000
- Revenue a month after
- ₹16,20,000
- Extra revenue a year
- ₹32,40,000
An estimate for planning, not a promise. Real results depend on your store, your traffic and what gets built.
Find out what's realistic for my storeHow an audit runs
A typical audit takes about a week from the first call to the walkthrough. Bigger stores take a little longer.
-
Day 1
Kick-off call
We learn about your brand, customers, margins and what you've already tried. You give us collaborator access and read-only analytics.
-
Days 2 to 6
The audit
We go through every key page on a real phone and on desktop, read your funnel data, and check speed, trust and usability. Every finding goes in the sheet with a screenshot.
-
Day 7
Walkthrough
We take you through the findings on a call, quick wins first. The sheet is yours to keep whether or not we build anything.
-
After that
Build and measure
If you want us to, we build the changes on a duplicate theme, test them on real devices, publish when you approve, and compare the numbers against your baseline.
A note before you get in touch
I've been building Shopify stores for more than seven years. Somewhere between 120 and 200 of them by now: theme customizations, product page rebuilds, cart drawers, full redesigns.
After that many stores, one pattern is hard to miss. Brands spend heavily on ads, then send the traffic to pages that make buying harder than it needs to be. The fixes are rarely glamorous: a delivery date in the right place, a button that looks like a button, a cart that doesn't surprise anyone.
CRO Insight is how we do that work properly. A small team, Shopify only, and the people who find the problems are the same people who fix them.

How we work
- Shopify, nothing else. We know what the platform, its themes and its checkout can and can't do, so everything we recommend can actually be built.
- We build what we recommend. No hand-off to another agency, and no PDF left on your desk.
- Your live store stays safe. Changes go on a duplicate theme and only get published when you say so.
- We'll tell you if CRO isn't the problem. If traffic quality or the product itself is holding you back, you'll hear that from us before you pay for an audit.

What exactly is a CRO audit?
A page-by-page review of your homepage, collections, product pages, cart and checkout on mobile and desktop. Every place where shoppers hesitate or drop off is written up with a recommended fix, ranked by impact and effort.
What do I get at the end?
A findings sheet with annotated screenshots and the reasoning behind each recommendation, a prioritized roadmap starting with quick wins, and a walkthrough call with your team.
How long does it take?
Usually one to two weeks, depending on how many templates and pages are in scope. We confirm the date before starting.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the store and the pages in scope. Send a request, we'll look at your store and send you a fixed quote. There's no obligation.
Can you build the changes as well?
Yes. We're Shopify developers first, so we build theme changes, custom sections, cart drawers and checkout customizations ourselves.
Do you need access to my store?
Not to reply to your request; we start from your public storefront. For the full audit we'll ask for collaborator access and read-only analytics, which you can remove at any time.
Will changes slow down or break my store?
No. Everything is built on a duplicate theme and tested on real phones before you approve it. We usually leave stores faster than we found them.
Is my store too small for this?
If you have steady traffic from ads, social or search, there's almost always friction worth fixing. For smaller stores we focus on proven fixes rather than A/B tests that would need months of traffic to read.
